Police structure
The Malawi Police Service has its headquarters at Area 30 in Lilongwe.7 There are six policing regions: Northern Region (Mzuzu), Central West Region (Lilongwe), Central East Region (Kasungu), South West Region (Blantyre), South East Region (Luchenza), and Eastern Region (Zomba).7 Under each region are police stations, posts and units.7 Each region has a Police Mobile Service (PMS) Division.7
